The kick-off meeting of the project O health Edu was  held on October 24th and 25th in Clermont-Ferrand dental school. This meeting gathered all partners with the purpose of helping them lay the groundwork for the project. During this working time partners had a lot of space to exchange ideas and for their contribution.
For this first meeting, the participants have:

1. discuss the administrative and financial management of the Erasmus project. This part will be managed by Lysiane Lelue (UCA) and Denis Murphy (ADEE), who are the administrative coordinators of the project with the help of Andreas Farina (UCA).
2. Reinforce the common understanding of the project (Intellectual outputs, working plan, leadership roles etc) and particularly an overall perspective of the articulation of the different parts of the project and how to best achieve them (preparation, main survey, dissemination, perspective)
3. Address the question of the workflow management using an online project management tool. Indeed, it is necessary to identify effective approaches and tools for the development of the project that ideally align to those already required by the EU agencies.
4. Participate in 4 workshops that are designed to allow brief exploration of the main elements necessary to conduct the Europe-wide survey on dental education (O4,5). The workshops will help prepare IO1,2,3,7 and will be held in a spirit that is both rigorous and open to the existence of different approaches and views.

The findings of each workshop were collated at the end of the meeting and have been discussed. These activities focused the agenda for the production of the Outputs 1,2, 3,7 and 4. 

An official launch has been held on Thursday 24th of October at the UCA dental school with the Rector of the University Clermont Auvergne. This launch time integrated a conference by Dr James Field (Sheffiled University, UK) about “ the satisfaction of students within the clinical environnement”.
